The RZR XP 1000 has one great weakness, the skid plat, or lack of. Directly under the floorboard is a wide-open plastic piece that leaves you and your machine vulnerable to sticks and rocks that could puncture the hull.

NOTE: When running the Polaris RZR Frame Stiffener / Gusset Kit with the Polaris RZR XP 1000 Full Skid Plate, the frame stiffener will replace the front section of the skid plate.
